A color that just doesn't do it for me

checking on my PDI GT3 yesterday I saw this out back. Apologies to the owner if he/she is on here, but had to take a couple of pics. not sure why the nose was off, didn't see any damage,
but man this color just does not do anything for me - on a cloudy day it came across as a metallic vomit color:

I'd agree, not exactly a head turner..more puzzling
anybody have good info on how Porsche determines their color selections year by year?
I know the Macademia is newer (like) and trending, LGM just doesn't seem optimal
for a GT3
