Mine in the shop right now getting new thermostat. Threw code P2181 Coolant System performance ~2 days after I noticed it taking forever to get up to temp (oil and water). Hoping this is the last electrical part gremlin I experience issues with. Last month it was a dynamic engine mount. Makes me love my 997 GT car that much more not dealing with a million sensors and (seemingly) crap parts vendors.

Porsche of Huntington is helping me with my RS now for the same issue, which is on it's second repair attempt in a year. Hopefully this time it's solved once and for all.

Default coolant temp indicator fault

I just had my engine replaced in April albeit 5k mile ago. lol and now I have a coolant temp indicator fault and engine control fault code. Has anyone replaced the thermostat and plumbing on there own yet? If so how difficult is it?
