I experienced a rattle in my GT3RS which I thought was coming from the rear wheel area and the front driver door area. Took it to the dealer and after extensive searching they discovered the cup holder assembly was not correctly installed and was loose. They reinstalled the assembly and all the misc. noises I had heard disappeared.

The reason I am mentioning this is because locating these rattles can be quite deceiving because I could have swore the rattles were coming from the rear area and the drivers door. Apparently the rattle was nowhere near these areas I thought they were located.
