anyone tune their gt3 yet?

That's news to me. I don't know of any ECU tunes.

The car hardly lacks for engine performance. I have to wonder how much testing has been done on the reliability of this "upgraded" tune.
I wouldn't risk my 5 year warranty for a dubious power increase.

Wouldn't risk a failure and void the warantee!

As far as I know, no one has cracked the encrypted 991 Siemens ECU. These rumored tunes are not like prior tunes that modifed the programming in the ECU. Instead, a "tuning box" is connected to some of the exisiting sensors and it tricks the ECU to get more air and fuel into the engine. I can't imagine doing this to a car that's under warranty or to a car that really doesn't need more power.

After all the engine issues I would not tune this car. It makes more HP than most of the recent race cars. I doubt you could feel 30hp anyway.

Impossible to get 30lbft out of a NA flat 6 without capacity increase, cams and significant work to exhaust. The factory couldn't get bugger all out of this engine over the 991S so no way its happening by ECU alone.

no not trolling. the company is ECU tuning group. if you want to check them out. i dont think they bother with forums ,and not even sure if theyre tune is complete yet. i think theyre based out of california. i had one of their tunes on my m5.
btw i think 30 whp would be a significant difference on this car, w/ being so light.

not sure about testing or reliability but its only 30 hp. surely the engine can handle another 30 hp....?

I would be very surprised if the engine could not handle safely another 30hp. After the previous engine debacle, I would expect that Porsche has made sure the current version is at least that much overbuilt.
