Lightweight Bucket Supply causing GT3's to be pushed.

Spoke with someone higher up at Porsche. They had NO clue that the take rate would be what it is on the buckets. They have to have them for the 500-600 RS's that start production in Feb-Mar. Could this be another indicator of production ending sooner than promised. What a crazy ride this 991 GT3 has been since its inception.

There won't be that many RS buyers if they only do 600 for the world. And how many of those will be going to the VIP program and to 918 owners. Not much of a need to get them on the config setup if John Q Public can't get one anyway... The RS buyers will get the call from the stealership and they will go pick out their stuff.

My dealer emailed me before I was even able to email him about this.
He told me that there is absolutely a delay on some of the seats. But, my car was not affected and 1/23 is still my expected date. WOOT.
He said that my car is likely to move to V210 or V220 on 11/11 which is the final freeze point.

Originally Nov 7th lock with buckets. i went V250 yesterday. Confirmed to be one of the VIN's not on the list of delayed cars. 5 or 6 other at Champion were delayed....by like 3 months. Feel bad for those guys!
If car goes as scheduled could be mid December if it catches that last boat in November to Brunswick.

I just spoke with Ian at PCNA, confirmed 101 orders are affected by the delay, he could not find my build on the list and has sent a request to production for my build schedule.
Hope to get an update by week's end.

He got back to me earlier in the day in about 20 minutes. Very very nice service.
