I thought the "wart" was only for Sat radio and not for the PCM. Any one else confirm this?

Originally I did not select it because of the unsightliness of the wart. Then I actually saw one in person and it didn't bother me so I added it back.

It has been moved near the motor intake and has a miniature RS wing to minimize air flow interruption.

Your dealer is dead wrong about the roof wart and PCM/NAV. It is required only for SAT radio. I have PCM/NAV and a clean roof.

It never fails to amaze me how clueless some of these people are about the product they sell....

As far as SAT radio itself is concerned, I prefer the quality and programming from streaming audio services like Pandora.

Thank you, that helps a lot. I can rationalaize the loss of sat radio but lamented the loss of nav trying to go "wartless."

Bottom line, if xm is not your thing, you get a smooth baby's ***. Xm is a plus for resale, IMO...not that I plan to sell this car. Visually, I could care less. F1 and LMP1&2 cars have attennai warts. They are beautiful.

I think you're on to something. Now I want it back on the roof! The "Winged Wart!"

Not on my build. I've never been a fan of satellite radio and if I was, there are apps on the iPhone that can pipe content through bluetooth.

Too, bridges interrupt Sat. radio on a regular basis and it's annoying.

My 2015 just arrived at port on the Kentucky Highway. I tried to cancel the wart. I was to late, it was on the line already. I just can't get passed the look, it drives me crazy. The lines without it are so beautiful. I'll live, the car will be awesome, just wish I had been quicker!

Sat quality is definitely inferior to even FM radio.
My Escalade had DVD-Audio which was the best quality I've heard, followed by CD, lossless compressed iPhone/digital/built-in hard drive, then streaming audio (Spotify, Pandora, slacker, last.fm), FM, XM then AM

Haven't read the whole thread, but getting traffic on the nav, in my mind, was the biggest benefit of equipping the car with sat radio.

I'll say it again... All of these little concerns vaporize the second you drive the car.
