None. It hasn't arrived yet. When it does it will be a DD weather permitting.

Now that the GTS is lurking around the corner. It's a tough time to buy a Porsche.

Sorry, the Macan and GT3 should not be on the same shopping list. You buy a GT3 because it moves your soul and its all you can think about, not because its the best $ per mile. Just my .02. Good luck!

I wonder how many variations of the "Should I get a GT3?" thread we've seen in the GT3 forum now. People are funny.

It is because we are trying to rationalize and justify the 140K purchase. Not everyone can just spend 140K to touch the soul.
That said, we still want to touch it but need to rationalize it. Ultimately, I think I will get a GT3.

I can relate. Just had my 6th kid last week. The kids love going for rides in the car with me. It makes car ownership that much better for me when I can have more than one kid with me. If I was in your position and could only get one car, I would get the Turbo S. Better daily driver, more comfortable, fast, handles great, and you can fit 4 people in it. It is Porsche's flagship car for a reason. The GT3 will hold its value better, but is that why you are buying the car? If finances are your main decision, get something used and a little older.

All of the above is coming from a major GT3/GT3RS guy...so it is truely genuine.

I came from a 997 Turbo S to a 991 GT3 and I miss my Turbo - a lot. I'm enjoying the GT3 but I'm expecting my next Porsche will be a Turbo. It's about effortless performance and usability. The GT3 is too narrowly focused for my liking. I'd love a Cayman R manual if they ever make one though. Too many double clutches in the garage now!

No no. Sorry if I come off this way. Finance is not my main decision factor It's whether one can max the joy of driving it instead of sitting in the garage most of the time. I had a 991 C2 and a Ferrari before and they garage queens. For me, I am just concerned if I can drive it year around (when it doesn't snow here) and if I can ride with my daughter. She is 9 and not sure if Porsche allows me to disable the front seat belt. I am sure I will rediscover my racing soul again.

I agree. With kids you need the rear seats. TT-S all the way. I had lots of fun with the TT with my daughter and her friends in the car.
