My understanding is that all cars auctioned by Porsche on Sept. 23rd (or thereabouts) will be branded pursuant to Lemon Law provisions, which is predominantly a federal law.
My prediction: 2014 GT3's at auction will likely be sold close to MSRP.

Track Day
I just picked up my GT3 today (it landed in San Diego on March 6). When they started it at the dealer it smoked considerably. When I started later today at my garage it smoked again...an intolerable amount. Again this evening! They said at the dealer that the smoking on start was normal. It makes no sense to me. And, the excess smoking on starting is intolerable in my view. Has anyone else noticed this?

Awful.
Make sure you record it.
Many have said that they experience some smoke. Other's have reported no smoke at all.
