Jordan - just loving it! I had it on my list of picture captures from autogspot.com as a potential for my car and may well go with it. Also to consider is to do the roof panel instead/as well in same matt finish (picture below of one in Europe with gloss but I dont think it looks right...).

I also think doing that same Teflon look on the wing top with the "Porsche" letters cut out would look great.

I like it. I want to make sure I understand, this is wrapped on top of the clear bra? I wonder if wrapping the wing same material would look good. Regardless, this is very nice.

You beat me to the punch and yes, adding the script would be nice as well.

May I ask if they took off the emblem before wrapping the hood? I tried to remove my emblem today but was unable to reach the bolts of the emblem because of a piece of plastic covering the opening that is normally there in a regular 991 or regular 997.

Thanks.

Just Jordan - Thanks - I already spoke to the folks that did your car and I have an installer in the area who will come to my house and do it. Very reasonable. I am considering also doing the roof and wing but since the minimum purchase is 15 feet they can hold it for me if I want them to add more later.

Sam - You put it right over the clear bra. Now, if you go the matte route do not wax over it or any thing. Just clean it like the rest of your car but just do not wax ect. Now - it is possible that if you do not like the wrap that when they take it off that it could ruin the clear wrap so it may need to be redone at that point. But these Vinyl wraps are actually easier to work with than say Xpel. Good installers can really get creative.

Excellent post. My mind is deciding if I want to do the whole hood like "Just Jordan" and then extend to the roof with about a 9 inch stripe down the middle and on each side 4 inches with the same finish but in a Metallic light grey and then finish the wing the same way with the stripe- awesome

Terrence - no need to. Good cutters can perfectly cut around it. The problem with the new emblem is that if you take it off you have an indent in the hood where the badge is. So you would have to manipulating the film in this indent which could lead to a potential adhesion issue in the future - just my $.02 - thought this thru but since it will be covered again may not be a problem. The guy who cleared wrapped my car cut it perfect
