As far as the car it's ordered exactly how I wanted it. I ordered it a year ago, it arrived at port in March and then I wanted until now. I have a good friend with one so I've already tracked one several months ago. After the long wait its well worth it. I've had an MP4-12C, 458, etc and while there are things I like about all of them I would probably take this car over the others. It's easily the most well rounded and capable GT3/GT3RS Porsche has made and the best looking as well IMO.
Do you still have your original build sheet? Mine shows the memory option. Clocked stated that we would all be contacted by Porsche.

Congrats - mine arrives in San Diego tomorrow!

I do. I first spec'd it in May 2013 and then finalized the specs early Sep 2013. Option P07 on that sheet still says Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18 Way). Doesn't say memory on that commission sheet either.

That's strange. Mine says Option P07 Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package.....$2,635.00 That is also how it was listed on the Porsche Website when I was selecting options.

I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe that came after I first spec'd mine? When was your spec'd and commissioned?

ToyGuyAZ- Congrats. Car looks awesome. I love the picture that captures the wing. I think Porsche really nailed the wing on this car. Yes- some think these wings are for posers but they are functional but most or all, brings out the child in me.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the car. I absolutely love it.

Please give us a summary of your driving impressions. I got to see my baby on Friday at dealer before headed on vacation but have appt. to pick her up this Sat. I am hungry for driving impressions while I have to wait it out. At least I am spending this week on the beach passing time.

Most of the GT3s I see in the wild are White. Especially in the Bay Area and surrounding areas, espscially Mill Valley, Walnut Creek and the like...

It is simply amazing the percentage of 991 GT3s that have been ordered in white. It would be interesting to have the official stats but from just looking around it appears to be well more than half.

First, absolutely beautiful car ToyGuy! I know you'll love it.

The first cars that were delivered came with a Monroney label that showed the 18 way seats with memory function, just as they were described in the configurator. Shortly afterward, Porsche realized their mistake and issued new Monroney labels that deleted mention of the memory feature. I have both the original one and the replacement one.

Some people who took delivery complained and were rebated the price of the seats. It's been posted now that Porsche will automatically be issuing rebate checks to everyone who ordered the 18 way seats. Whether that really means everyone, or only those who received the original incorrect Monroney, or in fact anyone at all, remains to be seen.
