White was discovered in Greenland by Lief Erikson's First son Thorgill around 1000AD. It was rediscovered by us 997.1 GT3 addicts when a few of the first ones delivered were white. When People saw how GOOD it looks in white alot of people started ordering alot of them. They were THE color for the regular GT3. When I got mine I had a choice of two of them. They were going as fast or faster than the 991s are now. Of course the rumor was that this IS THE LAST GT3 that will ever hit US Shores and Porsche didnt do anything to renounce that rumor. My choice was a used GT silver or a new White one without PCCBs. Well by then we had too many white ones so I got the GT silver one with the PCCBs.
Then much to our chagrin Dangit if the RS didnt show up, but this time WE KNEW this was the LAST ever GT car to come to the US, so prices were just exorbitant! But some of those with money did up some WHITE RS's that were $5000 extra to not have the Black orange/orange black Green black or silver orange. And the WHITE RS's WERE Gods and Porsches Gift to us common folk. So it was known then that if you dont want to go wrong, get a white GT3, its always a good bet. And so it continues here. I was going to buy one last month until the dealer raised the price by 30K and it was a Beautiful White GT3.
Most CUP GT3s come in Carrara white. Its just a great color and it really shows the shape of a great car.

Nice! I love it. I also got the carbon package.
While the sticker on your car doesn't say memory, when you ordered it, the configurator did. Porsche, according to Clocked, is going to reimburse everyone that ordered the option the full price of the 18 way seats.

As far as the car it's ordered exactly how I wanted it. I ordered it a year ago, it arrived at port in March and then I wanted until now. I have a good friend with one so I've already tracked one several months ago. After the long wait its well worth it. I've had an MP4-12C, 458, etc and while there are things I like about all of them I would probably take this car over the others. It's easily the most well rounded and capable GT3/GT3RS Porsche has made and the best looking as well IMO.
