Carrara White Metallic
#92
I think all the wheel options work well on the white GT3's. I just prefer silver enough to pay the extra $325. If someone is on the fence or undecided they should probably go stock since there is no up charge for those.

I just saw Carrera white metallic in person on a C2991, and it was absolutely stunning IMO. Much better in person vs. pictures, and no weird blue or pink shades. Hands down I'm good with my choice as it will look killer on a GT3!

Lift is a brand called Atlas. Purchased from greg smith equipment. I have the 408-SL model. I've had some small issues with it, which have been resolved, but based on the issues I had, I would go with the Garage pro 8000 model. It won't have the issues I had with the 408-SL. The lift itself is fine, but the rolling jacks that work with the 408-SL are bulkier and poorly designed.

Just stopped by the dealership to check out the CWM panels against my White 991 C4S. The sun was already setting in the buildings so some shots are in the shade.
To my eye, the metallic is pretty difficult to see unless you are up close. The standard white looks a lot creamier than the CWM, and surprisingly indoors it looks quite a bit darker than the CWM.
In a shadow, CWM panel on my '14 White C4S:
CWM panel in the shade, I can't see any metallic flakes here:
CWM in the sun, metallic flakes are visible and look pretty nice! It did not look pearlescent to me.
Panels indoors, CWM on the right. CWM looked brighter to me, I was expecting the reverse and had to check the back of the panel!
Panels outdoors, CWM on the right. This is the only time when it looked a little grey to me. It was difficult to get the exposure right with my iPhone, so here is one that is a little over exposed and another that is a little under.

Thanks. I rather keep it than take a bath on the resale. My dealer said he will work with me, but you know how that goes. I have a choice to trade the 991 or the 2013 M5, but heck I may keep them both ..........garage space is the issue or it's a no brainer. The GT3 should be here by the end of the month so I have time.

In the end, I have the feeling that the CWM would look pretty good with lights reflecting off it at night, and it's a little more unique than the regular white.
I still need to see what it looks like when its on an entire car, but I am leaning towards CWM now.
