The base price of the car is € 139,523.
So a base 991 GT3 CS is € 142,871 in France, all taxes include.

So, a friend of mine has a contact in Germany who was able to find all the part numbers and price out the cost of buying the full clubsport package (ie bucket seats, roll cage, fire extinguisher, harnesses, and mounting hardware). The actual price for the parts wasn't too surprising, but the additional taxes were unexpected. You are talking about $30,000 USD to get the full clubsport package. Unfortunately, at that price, I'm going to have to tap out. The seats alone will cost $17,000. The cage about $6400. Looks like it will be Recaros and aftermarket bolt-in cage for me. Below are the part numbers and price breakdown:
1 991 580 103 80 rollbar € 3,405.00 € 3,405.00
2 991 803 017 90 6- point belt € 309.00 € 618.00
2 991 521 281 8A seat € 4,515.00 € 9,030.00
8 991 521 863 8A screws € 4.84 € 38.72
8 991 521 861 8A screws € 1.54 € 12.32
2 991 521 429 8A seat console € 540.75 € 1,081.50
10 999 073 465 01 screws € 5.83 € 58.30
1 991 722 115 8A extinguishing bottle € 987.00 € 987.00
2 991 722 123 8A clamp € 29.70 € 59.40

Wow, Joe, talk about sticker shock! The seats alone are $17K?!!!!! Those are the old 997.2 buckets, right? When Suncoast were selling the 997.2 Sport Buckets I believe they were a shade under $9KUSD and they were a direct bolt in IIRC. They weren't selling the GT3 specific seats with alcantera inserts and the GT3 logo, but those features can't cost an additional $8K, can they? And $1300 for a fire extinguisher? Good grief. Are the prices you were quoted MSRP?

Another perspective:
" The CS package comprises a roll cage behind the seats, a 6-point racing harness supplied ready to install on the driver’s side (passenger side at extra cost), a ready-to-install fire extinguisher with mounting bracket and preparation for battery master switch. Battery master switch and the front part of the roll cage (which is not street legal in some countries) are available from Porsche Motorsport. " © Porsche AG

It took me a year to collect a combination of new and used club sport pieces to finally convert my 997.2 GT3 US spec. to Euro spec. Club sport package. It was worth the time and money IMO. I never thought I'd have equity in seats after the recent price hike. I even sprung for the original club sport carpet which ironically is cheaper than the non-club sport carpet. I have to get off my *** and post some pic's one of these days it came out great

^ Different cable assemblies if I understand it correctly. Confirm with your dealer before you buy, that could be an expensive mistake.

I have the full clubsport cage and fire bottle for my 997.1RS.
I also have the GT2 buckets. (wish i had the CGT buckets)
I do not have the factory battery kill switch however....
I also have a second set of GT2 buckets with Clubsport roll bar on the stash.
Anybody looking to trade their CGT seats for my GT2 buckets and cash?

I agree. When you buy cars like the Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition in the US, they include the larger front splitter (which is not US DOT legal) in a box (with the one from the non-Laguna mounted on the car)...

How is the Clubsport carpet different? Less insulation?
