Gary, I would have to carve out some private corresponds particular to my situation. The relevant phrase in responding to my inquiry whether the additional one years also includes a 100,000 miles "Yes, it does include 100,000 miles."
But you raise a good issue. Has anyone who has gotten their car back received the additional one year warranty certificate indicated it included 100,000 miles? FWIW, the 100,000 miles is a limitation not a benefit other than extended beyond 50,000 miles.

I have not received the one year extra warranty certificate (will ask about that), but I have received compensation paperwork from Porsche and it clearly mentioned 5 years and 100,000 miles starting from the original purchase date. So I'd think it's a fairly certain thing.

Are there many out there for whom 50,000 or 100,000 makes a real difference? In 5 years, how many GT3 owners exceed 50,000 miles?
Also, remember that the extra year is not as comprehensive as the 4 year warranty. It is actually 1 year of the CPO Porsche warranty, so not everything will be covered.

The letter from Quinn stated, "Furthermore, as a gesture of our appreciation for your loyalty to Porsche, we will apply an additional 12-month Porsche Approved warranty to your 991 GT3 which will commence upon the expiration of the normal Porsche New Vehicle Limited Warranty."
The Porsche Approved warranty is the Porsche CPO warranty and the details can be read here:

Things have improved and the CPO warranty is pretty close to the New Car warranty. My past experience was that the CPO warranty wouldn't cover some defects that the New Car warranty did.
One distinction I do see is that the CPO warranty states, "Components and/or parts that failed during racing or driving events (including Porsche sponsored events) will not be covered by the CPO limited warranty."
And the CPO warranty will not extend whatever the New Car warranty provisions are for Emission Control Systems and Corrosion.

Please see post #1108 in "engine swap" thread for a copy of the 1-year warranty extension. I note my dealer inserted the wrong initial effective date for this extension ... will have to get it changed.
Please note that "Warranty claims are not valid if the defect or damage is caused ... in motor sports competitions", i.e. track events, during this 1-year warranty extension.
Am relatively confident that the great majority of GT3 owners will not utilize the extra 50,000 miles now promised a few GT3 owners ... have yet to see anything in writing. What is of value to me is the extra 12 months, albeit more limited coverage than the original warranty ....

Good info.. I do not track so the one year is good for me. I think it will help because if I do keep the car for 4 years( never have lasted 4 years on any of my cars); I can still sell it with a one year warranty

Given that the warranty document makes no mention of a mileage limitation, I would assume unlimited miles. Basically, that is what Mercedes is doing on their CPO program now, 1 year unlimited miles. Of course it would make zero difference to Porsche because the majority of cars will not even reach 50,000 miles in 5 years.
