Hey, I am in the market for low mile used GT3. The VIN of the car I looking is WP0AC2A95ES183346. Based on these documents, this GT3 was manufactured from Porsche with latest revised engine bolts. Can someone please confirm this information for my piece of mind? Thanks

That VIN is sequentially later than mine which is a 2015 and has the updated fasteners. Also check the manuf. sticker in the drivers door jamb. It should be later than 9/14 and if so will be ok. If for some reason the build date is earlier and it's a 2014 model the seller should have documentation of an engine replacement.

EDIT: the VIN you posted decodes as a 2014, so definitely check the sticker in the door jamb for the month/ year of manufacture. If it's 2013 or early 2014 then there should be documentation of the engine replacement. Or perhaps this one was held at the factory during the stop sale? Sorry if this causes confusion.

That recall was prior to the Engine Change which fixed that problem with a whole new redesigned Engine. Suggest that you have PCNA or your local Porsche Dealer check their records on that VIN and confirm that this car has had its Engine exchanged. I would be VERY surprised if it still had the old engine with that problem.

The car was manufactured on 6/14 so I was just hoping this car was manufactured from Porsche with the motor already corrected.

According to the attached documents by bluehinder it says October 2013 to January 2014 so I am just double checking to make sure this is accurate because the dealership said this is not a lemon engine GT3 repaired car. I just want to make sure other manufacturing dates are not affected. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything else with better information.

Makes/Models/Model Years: PORSCHE/911 GT3/2014
Mfr's Report Date: March 21, 2014
NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V-090
Components: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
Potential Number of Units Affected: 209
Problem Description: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain model year 2014 911 GT3 vehicles manufactured October 19, 2013, through January 16, 2014. In the affected vehicles, a piston connecting rod may come loose and damage the engine crankcase.

I think the car is good but I will follow-up with dealership for final confirmation. Thanks
