Where is AP?
I do believe that Porsche will sort out the issue with the new GT3. Based on comments from current GT3 owners, Porsche is offering brand new loaner cars while the issue is investigated, and a solution is developed. Porsche is to be commended for how they have handled the issue.
What I do not understand is how the face of Porsche's GT3 program, Andreas Preuninger, is so silent on this topic. He is very talented, driven, and intelligent. But, should he not, at a minimum, issue a statement that he is disappointed, understands how the enthusiasts feel, and explain how Porsche is doing everything possible to develop a solution? That is Public Relations 101, isn't it?

He's nearly out the door, unleashing himself from all the corporate VW Bull**** that forced the PDK down his throat.
He's been spotted touring all the European backroads in a 4.0 with a vanity plate that reads "PDK LOL"

He's probably wondering how an engine that his guys tested for a million miles without major issues got screwed up by faulty parts or poor assembly. It's the weakest link in the chain that does you in....

I think you folks are pretty hard on him. I'm sure he is with the engineers trying sort things out so we can have fun. I would give him as much support as I can. He's losing a lot of sleep over this and it will hurt as hell to find out what is being said here while he slaving for a fix. I don't know him but from the vids and press, he strikes me as being very passionate and proud of all GT3's.

Y.. some of the car dealers think were a bunch of idiots I must be a complete idiot cause I've been on this thing all week and learned to ask for a 911 loaner TOMORROW.

Seriously? You really think he gives 2 ***** about what is said on Rennlist? At this point it's all about CYA and figuring out what the problem might be. You think folks are pretty hard on him? If I threw down the kind of jack required for a new GT3 and this debacle occurred, I would be beyond pissed. He is a cocky, arrogant engineer who now must get to the bottom of this mess. The only AP I have respect for is the watch company.

Yes, my car is in for a week now already and the only reply I've received from my dealership is: "We still haven't heard a single instruction from Porsche HQ"
Quite annoying, especially since Porsche has had a few weeks time already since they have been investigating the two fires. IMHO this is starting to get more serious.
