Porsche STOPPED GT3 DELIVERY
In Switzerland apperently afte oil and smoke coming from the rear engine...

From my dealer when asked about the 5 cars burning and impact on my April delivery:
We have received a stop sale on the or next two inbound GT3 models.
As of this morning this is what Porsche has told us :
“This Stop Sale action is being taken in order to investigate a quality issue that potentially exists with the engine of the subject vehicles. While additional details are not readily available, please know this matter is of the highest priority in the Porsche organization.
Please advise your staff accordingly so that any pending deliveries can be postponed until further instructions are available. We will provide additional information as soon as it is available.
We apologize for any inconvenience but please know we would not take this action unless it was viewed as absolutely necessary.”
I will immediately inform you as soon as I receive further word from Porsche on this. I understand your concern given the information seen online but let’s see what they discover and share with us.
My experience with Porsche is they will stop sale on any model if an issue develops and will not move forward until they are sure it is resolved.
