NEW GMG Racing Porsche 991 GT3 Sport Headers High Flow Catalytic Converter

The gains are impressive but I swore I would never do high flow euro style cats again after my last experience (with a different vendors product). The high flow cats will wear out after extended track use. On my Cayman, they failed after 18 track days. Although no company will warranty aftermarket catalytic converters if used on a track, manufacterers must warranty their OEM catalytic converters for 8 years, at least in the US, per federal law (see http://www.epa.gov/obd/pubs/420f09048.pdf). I've never had a problem with OEM cats, and plan to stay stock on my GT3, given the hassle and costs of replacing failed cats, even if a vendor like GMG will swap them at cost. Others may think the HP gains are worth it.

My only reason for not going to the headers and cats would be for warranty reasons. If I could be assured that my dealer would cover it I would most likely go headers and rear center section. PS not the exhaust, the engine and tyranny.
