NEW GMG Racing Porsche 991 GT3 Sport Headers High Flow Catalytic Converter
NEW GMG Racing Porsche 991 GT3 Sport Headers High Flow Catalytic Converters
Our new Sport Header system for the new Porsche 2014+ 991 GT3 models is now available. Utilizing the finest materials, unparalleled craftsmanship,
and a proven design, we have developed a superb race bred header system that offers an overall increase in performance.
The headers features equal length runners, true 3 into 1 F1 style merge collectors, and German made HJS HD 200 cell metal matrix sport catalysts to improve the flow of exhaust gases. The catalysts are OBD2 compliant to ensure no CEL (Check Engine Light).
Handcrafted out of US Made T304 Stainless steel, the system is meticulously TIG welded to AWM aerospace specifications with great precision. CNC laser cut header flanges are used to reduce the warping problems due to heat.
Our GMG 991 GT3 header system is complete bolt-on upgrade. The system will bolt up to the stock primary mufflers, and the factory sport exhaust option is retained.
Key Features:
- Equal length runners
- True 3 into 1 F1 style merge collector
- German made high-flow 200 cell HJS HD catalytic converters
- Increase horsepower and torque throughout rev range
- US Made T304 stainless tubing throughout
- Meticulously TIG welded throughout to AWM aerospace specifications
- CNC machined flanges to prevent warping
- Brushed stainless finish
- Direct bolt on replacement, no removal of bumper required
- Sport button remains fully functional for everyday use
- Hand built to order and individually serialized with laser etched badges
- Matching GMG exhaust center section is recommended for additional performance gains and a more aggressive exhaust note:
GMG Racing RSR Style Exhaust Center Section

Gentlemen,
Here is the dyno graph:
Due to due to the traction control and very sensitive driver stability aids, the has to be in a AWD mode so the numbers appear to be slightly lower.

The GT3 measures wheel speeds at all 4 corners for the traction control and 4WS. The dyno had to be put in AWD mode to get the numbers, but this causes a discrepancy in the numbers. The delta is the most important aspect, rather than the individual numbers.

ScorpionT is correct.
Due to the traction control and very sensitive driver stability aids of the 991, the dyno has to be operated in AWD mode so the numbers appears considerably lower.
Manufactures such as Saleen, Mazda, Boeing (concept land vehicles) and other aftermarket shops rents our dyno on a regular basis. It’s because the repeatability and numbers we produce are real world and NOT glory runs like most dyno shops.
Finally the dyno itself, we use a Mustang AWD 500se which is enclosed in a real test room. This rooms has (2) 10hp fans that flows over 150,000 CFM per minute for accurate real world repeatability time after time. The car is in a controlled environment which accurately simulates on the road conditions.
Generally speaking, we see a discrepancy of up to 20% based on other dyno’s in the area when compared to ours and what other shops claim. In this case, running a RWD car with the dyno in AWD mode further reduces the base number readings.
Regardless of the base numbers are, what is important is the power gain throughout the rev range. That is a real number. 15hp gain is a 15hp gain regardless of what the base number is.

Good gains and thank you for posting this. Regardless of the traction/driver aid interruption the gains are good. Are there figures with these headers and the muffler bypass paired together?
Are you considering a catless option??
Thanks
