My GT3

Having our GT3's recalled has been a B***H as you all know.
So, to vent I took out the Panamera 4S to the track at YAS using the full GP ( F1) Circuit. Here are two videos:
Lots of passing in this one:
Fighting a 997.2 GT3RS in this one. Finally get him though:
all in all it has scratched my itch...... for now.... cant wait to get the old girl back and get her on the track
hope you enjoy

And I thought you were kidding when you said you would flog the panamera on the track. This is funny! I love it.
I am looking forward to ferrari club track day (autodrome) coming up soon.

Arth. Yes I suspect its just the max rpm thing, but maybe also the mic needs to be a little distance from the exhausts or it will distort once you get to 8500-9000 rpm. Its pretty loud back there Id think. The interior is at lower volume (i.e. at 4000 rpm the rear db is 96 and the interior is 74) but as the rpm increases the volume certainly filters through the cabin.
I have my Go Pro Hero3 set to medium frame 1080 (48 fps). I use the plastic frame surround ("The Frame") and the extended battery pac with Wifi on and activate the unit form the wifi remove (now on my keyfob) so I can activate on and off at will without taking my eyes off the road. The gopro and frame are mounted to the rear roll cage as you have using the roll cage mount.
I have now bout the 3.5mm mic adaptor (the short GoPro one) and the Sony ESC mic which will b attached to the back of the extended pack and pick up better quality (and higher sensitivity) sound facing rear window. Given the volume I already achieved without the addition directed mic on my existing videos (especially above 5500) I think that will be just right.
P.S. with a 32 gb card and the extended battery and new wifi patch I can get around 1.2-1.5 hrs record time at my settings from the set up.
Not sure if any of this is useful....

So, I'm expecting to be underwhelmed once again, but I hope I'll be surprised. And if not, fine too, so I have the track for my own!

Haha, don't hold your breath, Arth! At the first / last one that I visited the pit-lane was one long line of parked cars and the track was virtually empty! So, I'm expecting to be underwhelmed once again, but I hope I'll be surprised. And if not, fine too, so I have the track for my own!
