Default GT3 Road Insurance....Experience with PCA Endorsed Coverage?

Has anyone had experience with Leland-West insurance, the company endorsed on the PCA web site? They offer classic/exotic insurance that seems quite competitive price wise, at least when compared to my insurer who is trying to screw me in a fairly major way on my new 991 GT3. I was hoping for some feedback, positive or negative, on their coverage.

Have not tried that, but GEICO priced my GT3 almost the same as my 4-year-old M3, maybe just 5% more. I talked to few others and the prices were as if I am insuring a nascar team.

GEICO told me they don't insure GT Porsches. I didn't think this guy knew what he was talking about. I'll have to check again.

I don't have my car yet, but I took a VIN from a heavily optioned 991 GT3 and had my insurance company (Liberty Mutual) quote it. We carry 250/500 and it priced at $900 for the year.

Thats pretty damn good.. I'm going to call them. Sometimes prices will vary depending on location. Im in NY so the thugs around here likes to carpool with other peoples car. They sometimes would mention bringing their friend Jack along.

I don't think he did. Their web site allowed me to input a 2014 Porsche GT3/RS.

Dude, I just priced out a 100 300 500 for about $1500 so I'm in the same ballpark. Going to play with the coverage some more but that's cheaper than the PCA quote and less than half what my insurance company was trying to squeeze out of me.

That's excellent. I have a policy for a vacation property with Liberty Mutual. I'll have to check with them.

He probably meant Porsche GT? I entered VIN online and got the price from GEICO. I think it's about $1,500/year with liability maxed out at $2M or something like that (I'm paranoid about litigious people here).

Great to hear, thanks! I'll check again. My last GT3 (.2) was < $1,200 (State Farm) with top coverage, 250/500, etc, however, that was in a different state and much less populated area.

This is what I do for a living. If you want to know if a comapny's financials google Am Best ratings.
Erie Insurance Group is one of the best out there but unfortunately they dont write in CA. I pay 850 a year for 250/500 full tort for 2013 991S. Right outside of Philly so not the boonies.....
I write for Liberty too....good comapny.

Just checked online. Allstate wants $3600 / yr even though I have a perfect record. GEICO wants about 900-1000. I will call my agent on Monday but after 10 happy years with Allstate the road may come to an end.

Allstate is on drugs.

State Farm quoted me $2400 or so, here.

Perfect driving record as well.

I'll check GEICO again.
