The internet machine is bad enough ( I'm here ...) , but the idea of being connected 24/7 isn't for me . I'm sure it's an age thing - probably have some years on a lot of you guys .

It's a brains thing. I am 59. I am throwing my Iphone 6 (I actually know how to use it) out the window on the way to lunch.

I am almost with you but my Cell lets me play and take care of business at racetracks all over the US. Own commercial property and have the plumber, painter, electrician and handyman on speed dial

As for Social Media I just say NO to Twitter, FB, Instagram and all that other BS.

my phone is 5 years old.
everyone thinks i'm outdated and crazy.
it does the basics; don't need all the marketing apps attached to the latest crap.

i love your attitude.
i drive to escape wife who must always tell me if i took this turn instead of that turn at 2:15am, i would have saved 3 seconds. and oh, if it's 2:35, you should take this turn instead of that. and if it's 4, do not leave SF financial district bc you will be on montgomary for 2 hours (that's 1 mile distance)... so GPS no good for me.

that wont help. i am at local cafe sipping mocha and ON INTERNET and on conf call in mute... it's gotten so bad that i even text and conf call on my bicycle climbing 9% grade. office often wonder why i breath that way on conf call probably thinking i am banging cutie. but i was just really trying to not fall off my bike with enough cadence going up. i do wish i can kill off my phone.

and get this.... i told my 6 yo to go play ball and do some exercise. he says i do plenty. playing candy crusher is exercising my fingers... OMFG.

Hi guys, I am back after a while of silence (too much work to pay my toys ).

Got the terrible news last week that my GT3 RS will get delivered only in December (but at least I have an allocation, so life's still good!). As I was stupid enough to sell my 997.2 GT3 RS last November assuming I would get the 991 GT3 RS in May, I am now without car for the 2015 trackday season, what a bad feeling !!!

I therefore went for hunting over the last days and was lucky to find what was probably one of the last available GT4 allocations in Germany and took it immediately as the car delivery will be June .

I hope that Porsche will offer me a key ring after having two GT cars on order for 2015 ...

I'm in sort of the same situation but October. Normally I don't drive my car between October-April because of the winter.

I wonder if it would be possible to get the car later since the season anyway is ruined.

But I'm glad that I still have my 997.1... 17-19 April: Nordschleife
