With all the black accents and silver accents on the car, GT Silver is going to look really nice! Classic color, and with interior choices and all the carbon fiber, it is going to pop. Especially with black wheels IMHO. Hardly wait to see, especially since it doesn't cost any premium, which will pay for the lift in itself.

The orange is pretty accurate on those model cars . I have seen the real car twice in Geneva for an extended amount of time.
I have ordered today one mini model in UV and one in Lava , so I can compare under real light !

Of course that can be achieved on any GT car by adjusting the coilovers.

Default True Color!

Hello Everyone!

Live from Geneva!

I wanted to post these two pictures, for all who are wondering about the Lava Orange, this is as close as I could photograph to the real color when you see it live:

As you can see, the dull light orange is far from the real color you see it live.
The seating position of the car in the 918 seats is like no other car.
The car is sublime by all means, it's mesmerizing, feels just so functional and present..

I decided to ditch the Clear Tail lights and keep the original 'blackened' standard ones.. They're very nice on the orange.

Will post more..

I think anyone ordering the clear tail lights is making a mistake. The blackened tail lights go with the multiple black accent theme. Once more pics become available I think most will agree

True.. Reverting my order back to the originals, wasnt sure they were blackened till I saw them in person and the attendant also confirmed they were darker than the GT3's

Minichamps 1/43 So far they seem to have produced all colors except GT Silver.

I would give these guys a ring as they're relatively local to you: http://www.grandprixmodels.com/

Barring that, you should be able to find them on eBay.

us.mini911.com was where I got mine from - they ship internationally at reasonable rates. I grabbed a 1/18 Lava and 1/43 UV.

The 1:18 scale versions seem to be sold out at the moment...
