The 991 GT3 is 3153lbs without fuel curb weight in its lightest configuration.
About the same as 997RS.

My car had an 80lb roll bar and seat belts in it, but had 50lb side muffler delete.

Anywho, Porsche could have made a 140lb lighter GT3 comparing apples to apples, making it 2910 lbs with the same specs as my 997's.
They won 140lbs and than added it back in mostly with PDK, RWS and the wrong seats.

Just random rumors from random media outlets. But, in the event anyone from PAG is reading this, a GT3-anything should really be N/A. If you're going to make it a Turbo, you already have a model for that, it's called the GT2 / GT2 RS. Don't make a GT3 RS if you don't want it to be N/A.

although, i did say that if they cannot give us the motorsport engine, they might as well skip the GT3RS and give us a turbo DFI GT2....
