Default Houston Auto Show

I have it confirmed there will be a GT3 at the Houston Auto show next week. Any folks going and want to meet up?

I just went up to the dealership to see his car. The Houston auto show is pretty sad but it's an extravaganza compared to the Hosuton boat show.

Very small display, and cordoned/ plexi-glassed off to the hilt. Was surprised they couldn't round up a turbo model of either variety.

Still, good to see a GT3 of any sort. Black on black is not my cup of tea, though.

The F-Type coupe that Jag had on display was a very nice looking car.

And the M4 has me, once again, flirting with spending 60% of the price, for a whole lot more practicality.

60% is too much to pay for an appliance! You can get a nice one for 30%. Go big or go home.

M4 starts at $63K, with more standard stuff than P, so less than half the cost of a GT3 but it's apples and oranges. Hard to top for a nice daily beater however with 430hp/400lb-ft, I might get a four door 'appliance' but will surely miss the V8 in the E90.

@kosmo -- All early reviews say that the Achilles heel is the transmission. Chassis is tight (bit heavy, but it's more of a sports GT car instead of an out and out sports car...), looks and sounds amazing...but the transmission...
