Interior Noise Level

Interior Noise Level
Okay, so I'm getting ready to order. Last minute, the wife says: "OH, is this going to be another one of those loud race cars? I don't want to go through THAT again..."
(What she's referring to is a big-block Vette that I used to drive. Admittedly, it was loud. It gave her headaches. She hated it. Then, she refused to ride in it. It's gone now. Yes.)
Anyway, so my reply to her was: "Don't worry, during normal driving, this car won't be any louder on the inside than our current Porsche." (For reference, our "current" car is a 2005 C2S with stock exhaust.)
So guys -- Is this thing any/much louder than a C2S? (under "calm" driving conditions, obviously not at full cry)
Thanks!

You could stick a pea under the seat and there average princess wouldn't know it was there. Pretty soft in normal pasm. A much more compliant and princess friendly ride versus the .2 for sure.

No data. My casual observation: If you drive with the sport exhaust off, the sound level is not close to bad. Today, driving back from track at 80 mph in 7th gear, I could have a normal conversation (would have been with myself as I was solo). Hitting the sport exhaust on and off coasting at 80 did not change the noise level. No doubt if you don't drive hard, easy to live with.

after dinner and 5 miles of all twisty road is not easy on wifey. My daughter had me stooped few time thinking she was ready to throw up. I am sure family will like this the 991 more.
