So, if it's prepped and waxed initially.. Then can it ever be washed in a regular car wash? Black with black headlights and white tail lights would seem like a deadly color combo IMO.

You guys can say whatever you want, this car still looks best in white!
I don't buy cars anymore according to my favorite colors, but according to what looks best in that particular car I'm buying. My 996TT looks best in Silver,my GTS in white and my E46 M3 in Silver Grey with red interior. I love Black, but to me these days I associate it more with " Executive " rather than " Mean looking " and in this particular car,it kind of hides the beautiful lines...
Just my 0.2c...

I don't mean to offend anyone's color sensibilities; it's very subjective. As I've said many times, along with others, it's difficult to make this car look bad, although the guy with the giant CUP graphic on the side of the car in the other thread tried really hard.....

It appears unfinished to me, as though it's waiting for color or graphics of some kind to complete the look. To me something in some shade of red, one of the blues, or even a yellow is a better choice, with a silver or gray as an option for a more subtle look. Agate grey is my second choice.
Guards red is a good choice too...hint hint
But of course,I wouldn't be afraid to go all the way with a Yellow or Blue.

I know, just didn't want to step on too many toes with my thoughts on white; a lot of people like it and it's just my opinion. Yeah, we need more people to get cars delivered so we've got something real to talk about!
And orange would be a bold choice and something that a car like the GT3 could definitely pull off.

Nick, you're going to get me in trouble! Don't get me wrong, I didn't say I didn't like white (my Cayenne S is Sand White, a creamy white that I really like and isn't too different from your pic of the GT3 on the road above) or even that it doesn't look good on the GT3. It does. Just saying I prefer bolder colors on a sports car.
