Alex, it will probably be over and you'll be relaxing on some superior medication by the time you read this, but I hope the surgery goes/went well. Keep the personalized plate suggestions coming...McMOMO...LOL!

Great comparo.. Yea, red looks better with white IMO also. However, with dark blue and agate grey I think they add to the look.

+2 ... my eye says no to clear tail lights.

I do like the clear front side markers though. Waiting for Suncoast to come out with the new clear LED ones so I can pre-position a set for my GT3.

Ryan, you mention clear LED. You mean these from Suncoast for the 991 aren't the right ones? Is there something new and special for the GT3?

With LED headlights, the side markers are LED also. I imagine the wiring is different and they are likely not interchangeable, but who knows.

Just checked - the LED ones are interchangeable. Not cheap though!

Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but are you saying the LED side markers only come with the LED headlights, but incandescent side markers come with the BiXenon's? Seems odd, since the DRL's and taillights are all LED regardless of the headlight type. Plus there's this from the GT3 standard features:

Separate auxiliary light modules in front fascia with daytime running lights, position lights, front and side LED flasher repeaters, and darkened front light modules

I'm confused....

me too, don't you just need to switch out the orange plastic covers for clear plastic covers on the front side blinkers? Why do you have to mess with the actual lights?

You can't just switch out the orange lenses. On US cars the bulb behind the orange lens is clear and the marker with housing is all one piece. When you get the ROW replacement markers it's an entire assembly, which includes the housing, orange bulb, and clear lens. The question here is whether the GT3 has LED side markers or incandescent ones. I've now heard from another source that they are LED on the GT3 and Turbo and incandescent on the regular 991 Carreras. The ones Suncoast sells are for the regular Carrera. At least that's my understanding......

I like Macca red tail better The clear tail will wear off after a while. Side markers always get changed on all my P-cars at delivery.
