How tall are you?
I'm worried about my fit into this car. I'm 6'3". 34" inseam. Sat in a C2 and when in a comfortable spot my legs sorta touch the lower 1/3-1/4 of the wheel. Wondering if in a slide recovery or fast turn ill limit my wheel travel? Head rooms good. Seat goes way far back. But it seems like the wheel is a little low.

I'm 6'5" with 36"inseam, I had both my GT3 997 Cup and 997 GT2 seats lowered and moved back which allowed me lots of room for my helmet as well as leg room and changed my sight line to a perfect level for me.
Both cars are fully caged as well.

With the seat all the way back and at the right height (the sport buckets in my C2S were quite low), and the wheel adjusted, I haven't had that problem.....

Great question.
I'm only 6 ft. but in my 991 C2S I still have plenty of room with a helmet on. The seating position can be adjusted much farther back and lower than in a 997. At least from what I have tried. ?
Is the steering wheel fully adjustable in the 991 GT3 like my 991 C2S? If so, I'd think you could adjust it way out of your way from your legs. It can be adjusted up pretty high. So much so the gauges get blind spots in places.

Here is a picture of Henry Catchpole for EVO in the new 9991 GT3. Hes 6'5" and has an Elvis hairdo and says in the article no issues with headroom, heck he could even have a helmet on! He dos say however he is long in the legs. In terms of legroom you can see him here. I think these are Sport Bucket seats. He makes no mention of their being an issue with his legs in the car...you have nothing to worry about....

Thanks for the input, and the picture. Look at his knees to dash and legs to wheel Clearence. That's what I'm talking about. If he puts hands at 10-2 then turns hard he hit his legs unlike other cars I've owned... But I'm sure I can make it work. Moving the seat down is a good idea... Thanks again.

I am exactly height and longer in the legs and I have no trouble fitting with room to spare. You have to lower the seat and you can also raise the steering wheel.

We need to accumulate a database of sorts, although it will be very small, of which seats will fit the driver's of which heights.
When I had a test drive in the in the 2014 911 C4S Cabriolet it had little meaning beyond the crap flying through my hair at 95m.p.h..
I will be Going hardtop in the future and would like to know set-ups will fit my 6'5".
For instance will I have plenty of space with 18 way adjustable seats and a Glass Sunroof per my turbo configuration?
So that's what I want to know. A few years back I sat in a GT3 non RS, don't even know the seat type and me shanks were hitting the dash board with the seat fully adjusted rearwards and back declined too its max and still no go. I know plenty of Porsches, beyond Cayenne and Macan fit me. Just which combinations?

My turbo, 18 way seats, Glass sunroof. Red on Red. I would do the Arena red like the Turbo (993) I fell in love with in the mid 90's. I asked Sascha Glasier if I would be charged for Paint to Sample and ha said YES sadly. Just that the Arena Red would not have to go through all the crap it takes for a normal PTS since Porsche used it in the past.
What a bummer I thought, that was the car I fell in love with all these intricacies. And the darn color, Arena Red, will be A $5500 addition when all they have to do is walk into the room with all the paints a grab it and spray it. How hard is that. I was born and raised on the border of Compton and North Long Beach and I can get a world class paint job done for $3500. Oh well. I should let Porsche do as much as they can.
