I just got a call form my sales yesterday.
Porsche just informed dealers that 991 GT3 production will stop on February 28 2015. Then they will start making 991 GT3 RS.
So there will not be too many 991 gt3s. They can't promise me I can get my 2015 order.
So I guess 991 gt3 will hold it's value pretty well. Anyway 130K for a 991 GT3 is extremely good value for money. And it includes PDK and PCM already.
Also if next gen gt3 will become turbo charged 991gt3 will hold it's value even better.

^Huh!!!- So there will be know new 2015 991 GT3 announced and produced but just reclassified 2014s???
If so; one would think I should be happy because this will be very exclusive but I feel for those that wanted the car of was promised one from Dealer

Good position to have, and especially the next line goes turbo which seems that's the path. 90 days left be fore mine arrives, and I asked the dealer to install the Sharkwerks exhaust with full clear bra! Can't wait.

991 GT3 will have 2014 and 2015 and that's it.
I would assume that 991 gt3 numbers won't be high.
Unless 991 gt3 have other big issues again. They should hold up their value pretty well.
Less number = higher price if the car is good and reliable. We already know it's good.
By next summer we will know if the car is reliable on track or not.

991 GT3 could be on track to be a collectors car, and believe it or not the 2014 may be worth more because of the odd ball recall that drove the engine replacement.

I think mine is decently optioned with full leather, 18 way seats, lift, PCCB's and some other odds and ends like sport chrono, sound package and NAV, PDLS, and dimming mirrors and it came to $153K. If I'd skipped the PCCBs it would have been $144K. Some people are checking all the boxes and ending up with $165K+ cars but I think most are under $150K; some well under.

True, I just asked my dealer about mine (slim chance, only if someone drops out) and the three they are getting are all of north of $150k So I find it very dis-iengous for someone to post things indicating these are $130,000 cars...NOT

wayyyy to early to tell.
For the short term they will depreciate very little. Naturally given supply and demand.
For the long term I think they will not survive depreciation.
Long wheel base, rear wheel steer and automatic are not a recipe for collectors.
