I agree they should have offered a choice.

Perhaps if we're lucky they will offer a Cayman with the GT3 motor (6 speed only, if they want, to keep it slower than the 991 GT3). Baby GGT... Maybe now with the GT3 as good as it is this car wouldn't be "too good" for Porsche to produce? MSRP 115k and I'll write a check today.

And where do I write to complain about this? I'd rather not do the swap myself.

Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind. To the point of taking measurements...

But Porsche would do a better job than I would... if they only tried.

the climate has changed.
in order to build 1 exciting car, the factory have to build 1000 boring cars to compensate.
'exciting' in germany might be a different, more muted interpretation to our hedonistic ideas.
word on the street is that there may be an 'exciting' cayman arriving on the scene which will have great intentions, but not the halo motor.

I can see a Cayman, but I'd like more than 400HP. Maybe 450 at $100k?
Completely stripped. It may be worth the extra 50% over a Corvette if its 400lbs lighter.

How do you define "halo" motor with the GT3 race connection officially severed?

Does anyone on these threads actually have a PAG factory contact? Ask about the Motorsports Testing Program for DFI...
