Look at the picture on the right. Across from the PDK SPORT button it looks like an exhaust icon. Would this be the "sport mode" for exhaust like the previous GT3 where the baffles are opened for a louder sound when the button is activated?

Yup. It also provides a boost for mid-range torque when activated. Something around 23 lb/ft IIRC.

I'm happy with what I see...
At least on the configurator the silver option comes with the Porsche crest hub cover....assuming these late development cars are running "release to production" spec's....then i'd suggest not...

Honestly gotta say I got board watching him shift in just that short video. I get that Porsche needed to offer automatic as an option and no question it'll be faster on track, but for the street meh. If the car can shift for itself as good if not better than the driver then paddles seem redundant and superfluous.

Speed yellow looks great.

Bring on the manual attack dogs.

Wished he had pushed the car more on some sections of that road when it was clear. Seems like he was not looking far enough ahead...

Anyway, I keep clicking on this thread b/c this rig looks badass. If I'm not sober when I lock in my order it will be yellow.

I hear you frayed. That yellow pic looks so go it might be a reason to get "not sober".

As someone pointed out, I haven't seen a color yet that look bad on this car. Every time I see a new one I think "I want that..."

I was wishing the same thing. OTOH, he was on a two lane road where the speed limit is typically 100KPH, IIRC, and as he was well up into 4th gear he was probably doing close to double that at one point. Caution may have gotten the better of him....

wow ! what a sound . I want one , after buying the 981 cayman pdk , i am sold on PDK. New PDK is fantastic on my 2014 Cayman s , i can only imagine how much better with 50% shorter gear pulls.
