Thanks.

My dealer got 10.
2 this year and 8 for the balance of '14 (2 per quarter.
Do I pull the trigger for this year or for next?
The order is in the computer all I have to do is say the word!
MJones, how does your dealer's 991 allocation compare to the 997 allocation - same? I would consider waiting for sport buckets and PTS.

Ok, well. I got the call that I now have an allocation. Awesome!

But, the build date will be Q4 2014? Uh...geez. I was optimistically thinking production would happen much faster than this. My dealer is basically getting one car per month, which when you consider the number of global dealers, I guess makes sense.

One car per month is a lot considering what others are getting. You must had been far down the list.

Nevertheless, congratulations!

Yeah, was #9. They got 7 standard allocations and 2 slots for 918 owners.

What timeframe are you looking at Nick? Would love to take a look at your beauty in person over a coffee sometime.

Cheers

Oh, I forgot you are in San Diego! I am #5 and was given a second quarter allocation. If someone drops out, I get into the first quarter. You're on for coffee.

Being told your 2013 car will be ready to drive in 2015 is **** on a bull. Interesting, but not relevant or useful.

Perhaps this is optimal for their production line, perhaps it's a ham-fisted attempt at balancing supply and demand. A patent failure on both counts. Either Porsche is in the business of building 911's, or it's not.

The marketing guy says "shut up and drive" ... year after next?!

I may be a naive optimist but I get the feeling that Porsche will be moving up many of these production dates. What do I based this on? Nothing except that Porsche is in the business of making money and if they have the capacity to produce earlier they will.

250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) $0
474 Front axle lift system $3,490
431 20-inch GT3 wheel $0

Thanks! Done ED 3 times so it's no longer a bucket list item (though still great) and I seriously considered Guards. Just thought I'd knock the profile down a notch,

No mobile phone prep, a zero cost option? Congratulations! That must be a relief.
