Hi guys! My name is Eric and I am new to the Porsche forum. I have been a BMW fanboy for the past 10 years, going through different models of BMW including the 135i, 3 E46 M3 in different colors, and the last car is an E46 M3 WAGON (conversion) I still have it.

Last month, I officially purchased my first Porsche, my dream car, the 991.2 GT3RS with Weissach Package finish in Racing Yellow, loaded with all the desired options. I drove straight to Monterey Bay for Carweek 2023 and already added 2,000 miles within a month. Super excited to join and meet everybody in the community.




I have a question about my vehicle and would like to see if you guys have information about:

1: What is the production number for .2 RS in Racing Yellow with Weissach Package? All I can find is the unofficial total production number posted on the forum, which didn't specifically tell about how many are with Weissach. So far I already know 6 RY with Weissach around my area, therefore I think the production number should be higher than that.

Welcome and congrats! If you were the one driving near the Porsche VIP Party Saturday evening at Carweek in Monterey, I saw you drive by. Car looks great! Also an ex-e46 M3 owner as well!

Yours is a 808WP and it appears there are 53.5% in RY made in the USA, so 53.5% of 46 would be a ballpark estimate, but the data only tells part of the real story.

Yes, went there early and was informed I had to be invited by a dealer

I will keep my E46 M3 around until I find another manual replacement.

Congrats on the new ride. We ran into each other on 17 mile drive coming from opposite directions. Racing Yellow is the best color, but I am biased.

As a fellow racing yellow owner, I have delved into this a bit and been told the following:

They only made 56 Racing Yellow (RY) 991.2 GT3RS for North America.
46 for USA and 10 for Canada.

808 WP 27 USA + 5 Canada (Exposed carbon hood)
909 WP 6 USA + 0 Canada (painted carbon hood)
Total Racing Yellow WP = 33 USA

Non WP 13USA + 5 Canada
Total Racing Yellow GT3 RS (WP & Non WP) = 46 USA
