Great buy. Keep an eye on Champion inventory, every once in a while they seem to price one particularly right, often w/ CPO. This one qualifies.

It’s been pending well before OP’s post. I think deposit was on Wednesday.

Wonder what it sold for. They were asking 45k over MSRP.

Good ones don't last. If it smells like a good deal and you want it, probably better move.

We're of differing opinion on MSRP relevance, fair enough, but at what point do you begin to demote this value variable? We're going on 6 years and 20%+ inflation since this was first sold.10 years post-purchase?

Im starting to agree. It’s not about msrp. It’s relative to other sales with similar miles and with the options that actually matter to most (FAL, manual - which all Tourings have, buckets) and then some strong opinions about leather and PCCBs.

MSRP is relevant to the extent that the car has the options you are looking for. A car that was 150k when new and doesn’t have PCCB’s, leather, lift, buckets, etc to me isn’t comparable to a car with all those options to the extent they are a must for the buyer. To me there is a value added to the car with important options. Others may not care about them. When I was looking for a car PCCB’s, leather, buckets, lift and a few other things were a must. Luckily I found the perfect car although it had a few extra options I probably wouldn’t have ordered but I appreciate. If MSRP has no relevance then a stripped basic car would be worth the same as a highly optioned one. Not to me.

My point was the first $10-20k of options over base matter. From there, they don’t any longer.

Yeah I note even that Canada Carmine in CO sold.

OP, this one gets you close to the soflo option in specs and mileage, just no fal.

That was the one my friend almost bought before the Champion one.

I'll give kudos to Daven at Grand Prix here.
I purchased my 991 3RS in PTS from him a few years back. Fantastic transaction, shipping cross country etc.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for and what’s important to you. I want the options I want and would not settle. I have been lucky to be able to spec all of my GT cars with the exception of the one I kept and like the most. It’s pretty much how I would have built the car, nothing missing and a few extra options I probably would have passed on. And it’s the exact colors I wanted. I was able to buy it three and a half years ago with 100 miles on it. It’s not going anywhere!

Thank you to everyone who replied to this thread.

Have decided to pass on the white car I think. The non leather dash I overlooked when I saw it in person but have realized that it probably would bother me overtime, especially at the price. The silver car did sell. There was another white one at Parkhaus that was the perfect spec and I would’ve paid their asking price but unfortunately also sold. Seems they are difficult to come by.

My non negotiables at this point are full leather, FAL, carbon buckets and PCCB. Now finding one with low miles and ideally porsche CPO. Will continue the search.

Good luck! Your non negotiable's seem very reasonable, especially for tourings imo. Enjoy the hunt!
