Fastest Porsche Ever Up Pikes Peak!

M-Engineering had the privilege this year to partner up with Brumos and David Donahue for another record setting weekend on the mountain! The Brumos Collection's Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS Clubsport, piloted by David Donahue, was able to click off the fastest Porsche time the mountain has ever seen.

Donohue, who's no stranger to the number 918, the program manager for the 918 program for Porsche NA, was able to set these new records on his 7th attempt at the mountain. This was the 4th year we've had the fortune of working with David and his skills on the mountain rival all others who've navigated their way up 12.42 mile "track" with 156 turns with a daunting 14,115' summit finish. This year David was able to utilize the Brumos 991.2 GT2 RS Clubsport to cut a time that was over 18 seconds quicker than the current Time Attack 1 class record (9:36:559) set by David Donner in 2020 and reset the overall quickest Porsche record (9:23.721) set by Raph Astier by nearly six seconds. Both of whom we've had the pleasure of working with at Pikes Peak, having set the previous fastest Porsche record with Raph and a previous production record with Donner. They are both amazing drivers in their own right.

While the list of partners and parts is long on this particular build, we do want to go over the components that were used in generating enough power to keep the GT2 RS breathing at extreme elevations and enough grunt to set a blistering pace in the lower sections.

- M-Engineering PDK Tune
- ProTune for Race Gas on our South Florida Mainline Hub Dyno in Pompano Beach
- M-Engineering x Pure Turbos PTME1000 Turbos
- BBi 3D Printed Titanium Exhaust System (modified for Clubsport)

This car came down to our dyno facility and headquarters this spring for a custom tuning session. After the new turbos were installed, it was important to get it dialed in and ready for race-day.
We were able to pilot this car to right around 800whp on race gas. It picked up an astonishing +182whp and +91wtq.

Don't forget this car is on a Tractive Suspension semi active kit too!

whats the peak hp/trq gains on a 991.2 gt3 and the cost going to be for the 991.2 m tuner suite?
