Default Car wash and front water splatter

Has anyone solved the age old problem of washing our cars, only to get it dirty again from the water that pools in the front air grill splashing on the hood and windshield when driving?

Never noticed it, but you can try using a leaf blower

I 'try' to wash mine and let it dry completely for 24-48 hours before driving it and that works but yes it's a pain if you wash it and then dry it and go drive hours afterwards and soapy water will coat the windshield, etc. no matter how much you seem to rinse it and dry it with a blower.

I use a blower to dry my car that gets into all the nooks and crannies. This is especially true for the wheels and window trim.

+3 for blower, I use a hand-held electric cordless blower post washing for wheels, mirrors, panel gaps, rubber seals, etc.......
Most times I try to let it sit 24 hours before driving, like AMJ.

Also a blower user. I use an 80 volt cordless and it works perfect.

Where are you guys focusing the air? Front lower bumper or opening in front of the frunk?

I use a motorbike drier and focus on:

wheels
front and rear lights
Lower side window trim
front splitter
door mirrors
around air intakes

use a drying towel first for all the main panels, works perfectly with no drips!

I never figured this out on my 991, but I have on 992. Same issue. So annoying.

I can never seem to get all the water out even with a leaf blower. With the CR spotless system water can stay in the radiators for over a week.

So I solved the issue. Micro fiber towels and a quick spirited drive. Works like a charm.

This is genius! Thanks for sharing.

Sadly the 991 front air dam is part of the bumper so can't be easily solved that way.
