I ain’t crying about it. Just wanted to clean up the fenders. Read the entire post. This is the first Porsche I’ve ever owned. Don’t see the problem with asking more knowledgeable people.

Tracked cars aren't "bad to buy". I agree 100% that these cars can take the abuse on a track and track cars are well maintained (generally) but this notion that the amount of wear and tear on a track is somewhat comparable with wear and tear occurring in regular/street driving is absurd. The drivetrain and all mechanical components are heavily taxed in track driving, in addition to cosmetic wear (which is easy to mitigate). In the old days, 1 track mile was viewed as the equivalent of 7 to 10 street miles, and that's probably still applicable.

Since a heavily tracked car sees a lot more wear and tear (sustained high load/RPM driving, frequency of gear changes, repeated hard breaking, elevated fluid temps, suspension wear, etc. etc.) than a garage queen, IMO it should be priced at a discount to compensate for that wear. It sounds like that was the case with this car, so buyer got a fair deal. Enjoy the car - it looks great!

Tom

Great video I never knew how the Bulletin was complied with. The dealer or factory had the rolled my fenders prior to me taking delivery.
