Via an online chat with someone at Tire Rack this morning, the Goodyear 3R 265/35/19 was scheduled for production the week of August 15 with availability 9/2. Now Goodyear doesn't believe they're going to be put into production the rest of the year, which really sucks. Tire Rack also has no information about the Bridgestone Potenza Race. My fears about not being able to do DEs in late Q3 and all of Q4 may become reality if I can't get tires.

Are they new or used and what are you asking for them? Front rear or both?

What a messed up world. A virus causes premature death of 0.3% of the US population over a period of two years, a country with 2% of the world population invades a country with 0.6% of the world population, and now we can't get tires in the US. Makes no sense ...

In 19" 265/325, why not Conti ExtremeContact Force or AR-1? vs sitting on the sidelines

Because there's no guarantee those will be available either when the time comes.

Is there a southern California shop that sells/ships AR-1s? Phil's Tire is really great but shipping to the west coast adds up. Last I checked Discount doesn't offer the AR-1.

not that I know of. I think Phil’s is the only US distributor.

I'll be using the Goodyear Supercar 3 on track for the first time this weekend. What hot tire pressure do you guys recommend?

See if you can find recommended track pressures from Goodyear.
32 psi hot is probably a good place to start. That means going out around 28 cold.

After wearing out 3 sets of Cup 2s in 15k miles of daily driving and track events with my GT3, I've been using Michelin Pilot 4S tires since and have been well pleased. While I'm sure there may be better grip with the Cup 2s, as I drive track events for fun and drive at 80% or so, I can't tell a lot of difference with the 4S tires: except I now get 20k miles per set of 4S tires.

32 hot is what I was told by guys here at the track. Seems to be working well. I like the Supercar 3 more than the Cup 2. Cup 2 has more peak grip, but it falls off after a few laps from overheating, whereas the grip of the Supercar 3 is more consistent over a 20+ minute session. Supercar 3 also communicates better.

Many comments at last week's track event that the Supercar 3 perform better than CUP2s.
Not trying to start tire fights, just conveying what several other very experienced GT3 driver's all said.

The only technical 'issue' is that the Supercar 3 305/30/ZR/20 rears are not an XL load rated spec.
