I know there have been various threads about this topic, but now a lot of cars are past or coming on their standard / CPO warranty period so I was hoping to consolidate in one thread if people have been successful in obtaining reasonable extended warranties on their GT cars. Thanks.

I was just quoted assurance 6 years past end of factory warranty up to 60k miles at $4600. $500 deductible.

or Porsche warranty for $7800. $250 deductible.

Assurance quote is attractive - anyone have experience?

I went to Champion and was told after they ran my VIN that our GT3RS (2016 with CPO) was not eligible for any further Porsche or Fidelity warranties. The finance manager stated that no warranties beyond CPO on GT3 / RS are offered any more. Other models they do.

Porsche does not offer extended warranties on GT cars according to two different US dealers per my inquiry in the last four weeks.

Above quoted extended warranties were for my GT3, I just made the call and that's it.... no dealer car inspection.

I have an 8 year, 100K extended warranty from the dealer on my 2018 GT3

Porsche offered extended warranties on RS and GT3s at one point. I have 10 year ones on mine during time of purchase. They seem to have discontinued them.

Certainly.... it was Porsche Oakville. Just registered the extended warranty, I went with the 2 year at $4,000 CAD.

I got one from my local dealer in June - 5 years 60k miles for about $6,500 for a total of 9 years with the factory warranty included. All that was needed was an inspection (the same one they do for CPO) as I had not bought my car from them. Pretty straightforward.

To clarify, dealers are willing to sell extended warranty from third party companies, just not from Porsche. Please confirm which company the extended warranty came from (not dealer).

Correct, only a manufacturer can issue a warranty. Anything from a third party is a service contract.
