Default Dundon Mini Crack Pipe + Street Headers

Just pulled the trigger on a Dundon Inconel Megaphone/mini crack pipe - my lifetime loud wasn’t quite loud enough. It’s close in sound and volume while being extremely livable, but I was curious to see if I could get a bit more out of it and get closer to an RSR note. The mini/valved crack pipe is fairly new so I haven’t been able to find any video examples/reviews of Dundon street headers + mini crack pipe.

Has anyone here played around this combo? The “full sized”/OG crack pipe sounds amazing with street headers, but the streetability of the valved version was alluring as I hear the WOT experience is almost identical. Every time I hear a real RSR on the track I think..I need a crack pipe in my life..so I took the plunge!

I have OG crackpipe on race headers and it is too much for street driving, I only drove it twice after it was installed. Going back to loud muffler soon, I wish "rolled" titanim tips were offered in the same apperanace of black tips instead of straight cut versions.

This is the loudest set up you can have I am pretty sure; the only car I know with this when it starts in the garage at the track its LOUD.

I think the valved crackpipe should be pretty tolerable for street duty...we shall see! TJ Hunt just did this setup (with street headers) this week - hoping to see a video review soon!

As far as the tips go, I like both, but prefer the rolled for a "street" style exhaust. I think the strait cut is cooler for this application as it's closer to the real RSR exhaust look. Perhaps this is what Dundon was going for? The material (inconel), wall thickness, and megaphone profile are nearly identical to the real RSR, therefore one could argue that the tips should match too:

Anything that gets in the ballpark of the RSR cars' sound gets a giant thumbs up from me...heard them at Daytona last year...sounded like the Devil breathing.

my street headers and loud muffler failed at NCM. 103DB limit.

Worth it though. 😃
