Default 991.2 RS 2 year service questions

I have a 19 3RS. 5700 miles. I have inquired at local dealer about a 2 year service. I bought the car a year ago with 1800 miles and had my indy ex P mechanic change the oil. Car is about 30 months old now. I inquired about getting the 2 year service. I asked for oil change, plugs and brake fluid change. I was quoted for the services and was told that they cannot stamp the book as serviced if I don't change both the cabin air filters at almost $500 in cost. I find this a bit much as the car has 5600 miles. They said this is "porsche policy" I don't mind spending $ on my car but I don't want to be taken for a ride.

I was quoted for the following services

Oil change $400
Brake flush $295
plugs $618
cabin pre filter $203
cabin filter $273

All amounts are plus tax and maybe "shop fees"

All in all i'm looking at $1900-2000. Seem normal or out of line? The filters seem a bit out of line when I can buy both from Suncoast for $70

I'd just pay a Indy to do it and save like 1k.

trust me, i love my indy guy but i'd hate to have a problem with this car when it's a month out of warranty and need some "goodwill" help from the dealer.

Plugs are $150 and an hour - seems a little steep - cabin filters way too much too (the one in the frunk takes 5 minutes and the other one 10 minutes and parts are cheap)

Glad to do the whole list myself - it’s easy, fun, and way cheaper

My dealer has never stamped my book when doing service. Is this actually something they do or that anybody cares about? I mean... I have receipts/invoices showing the work was done. But people actually care about a stamp in the glovebox book?

call another dealer that is active on RL. Some are happy to provide insight.

Yes I’ve never “stamped” any “book” in any car over ever owned. Reminds of the good ole days when my parents took me to the bank and I had one of those passbooks the teller wrote in/ stamped. Old school for sure

more important is the service due message which they told me they won't reset unless I get the "full service"

They will reset free if you do the work yourself, as long as you keep parts receipts and maintain a log with mileage and date of services performed
