Tuning your GT2RS? What are people going with?
New to Porsche. Bought a 2018 GT2RS a couple weeks ago and am looking into putting on a tune. I'm not new to tuning cars but don't know this platform or players yet.
Are people flashing their GT2RS and if so what software are they going with?
Sorry if there is a thread on this topic already. I could find one specific to the GT2RS so thought I'd juat throw it out there. If there is a discussion on this already please send me the link, I'm not opposed to reading and educating myself. Thanks!

There is no free lunch with this stuff. Caution on it, more power on the track hasnt been useful. Exhaust, tune, etc can also create warranty issues and the car is already extremely loud. That said, many are always pursuing more power and there are options.
I highly suggest considering aero improvements, alignment, lowering a smidge...

The GT2RS club sport parts are great, if you have contacts to buy. Likewise, MCS, KW, Tractive coils are great and emotion has you covered on tension arms for adequately controlling caster with more extreme camber, adjustable sway bar end links when u change ride height, along with widening the front track slightly.
I will be showing my complete aero package soon, provides about 15-20% additional DF, 5-10% less drag, that is significant and showing 4-7MPH increase on 140-150MPH straights, along with more DF. Wasnt exactly cheap, $15k or so for the aero but maintains the balance.

No, out of the box, needs work. It provide significantly less downforce than the 991.2 gt3rs and more economical choices for brakes. It would be helpful to understand ur goals for the car, is this track, street, drag? Percentage, etc. It is a solid car out of the box on the track, with a good alignment... for sure.

Dundon 4way MCS... you need an experienced crew to manage these shocks. I would consider these once experienced with the car as they have the potential to absolutely ruin an amazing beast.

wow - I am shocked. It has the WP so has the light weight wheels, PCCB breaks and all the other bits. I would have never thought I would have to swap out or add things for handling on this car. I thought it was a step up from gt3 especially for the price, I thought it was track ready. I guess I have a lot of learning and research to do to make it track ready.
