Here's the update:
Spoke to GM today, and he explained that the dealership is soon to be acquired, so they are testing the water with this method. They said this method may or may not apply to their loyal customers, as they are still deciding.
I said that I am in no rush to be the first customer, so they can charge the first person what they want. I said I understand that it is a two way street, so I would be interested in purchasing some additional items they mentioned, but absolutely not everything.
Seems like things will work out as long as I remain calm and collected. A few lessons learned here for sure.

I find these posts worthless when the OP won't mention the dealer. Zero teeth and complaining just to complain. Throw out the dealer or just make your own decision. It is another form of ADM.
My personal opinion of course that may not be shared with anyone else.

I am not throwing their name out there because I want to continue the good relationship I had with them. The rest is up to them.

You seem to think that naming the dealership here will somehow change how they treat you when you buy a car, come in for service etc. The reality is it wont.

Yep. Very curious as to how they decide to proceed.
Not complaining, just seeking an educated opinion of GT3 and GT3RS owners. No better place than here!

OP felt it worthwhile to share the dealership’s name with the world on his negative reviews(albeit temporarily), but not with Rennlist? Lol

Totally understandable, was told one thing by the dealer, thought he was high up on the list and guaranteed allocation. Sold his car while prices are still good on the 991.2s in anticipation of moving up to a 992 GT3 and BOOM, dealer moves the goalposts. Expectation vs reality dissonance. Took some coming to grips and reconciling what happened and I think is back in the game and talking to them. In the end dealers are fickle b1tches...sure they have solid people but they are only as consistent as their least consistent cog....

I've been on "the list" for a "992.1 GT3" at this same dealership since early 2018! In writing, signed by the Manager, $500 earnest money paid. At the time, I was aggressively seeking a 991.2 GT3, which had a long waiting list back then. I wasn't sure I could get a 991.2 at msrp, so I got "on the 992 list". Back then, I was told that I was either 4th on the list. I mentioned this to my SA two weeks ago and he said he would get back to me. Not a peep since.
I'll be curious how they handle this. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. They treated me honestly and fairly in the past, but I'm concerned with the change in ownership. I won't pay ADM ever, period. Thing is, I'm not sure I want a 992, at least not yet. I have a 2019 Touring and it's not going anywhere.

Not sure this thread has as much to do about reviews as it does about reinforcing the fact that unless you have signed paperwork and a commission number assigned, you don't have a car no matter how much deposit or ADM has been given, track record and "relationship" or not.

ADM is legal
"requiring that you purchase a Porsche Watch, PPF Film, Ceramic Coating, And Wheel and Tire Package through them to get the car" I am not sure that is legal... ?
anyways, these guys are short sighted.
