Update- I test drove a new Taycan 4S (standard battery) today and it was an eye-opening experience. It sits nearly as low as a 911 with a superb seating position, beautifully crafted cabin and all the Porsche cues one would expect. Quite spacious for 4 with an airy greenhouse particularly with the panoramic curved glass roof. Most impressively is the drive...immediate right-now power combined with accurate, well-weighted steering and superb body control. Completed planted through corners without pitch / dive / roll that belies it's weight and is much closer in spirit to the 911 than the sportiest versions of the Macan or Panamera. Finally is the composed ride- even on rubber-band 21's, the suspension is well damped and rides significantly better than my Macan GTS's on the OEM 21's (why???). I'll try to take out an E63S tomorrow but at this point, I'm spending the evening on the Taycan configurator....

I absolutely love the m6gc I have had 2 both competition packages and with the jb4, and it take something very fast to beat me. But the new m8gc is even better.

I reckon as a daily the C43 and E43 are great options. For sure they are not the full fat choice, but the E63S can be too much of a good thing if you just jump in to go and buy some milk. I drive a C43 myself and enjoy it every time I drive it. Good sound, comfortable, fairly nimble (doesn’t embarrass itself around the Ring) and excellent sound system. Kept looking at the E63S too, but decided a 991RS ticks the boxes for hard driving and track and the C43 is more suited for daily duties and travelling. Just my 2p
