My first mod - Guards Red Door Pulls (install pics)
For whatever reason my car was spec'd with GR belts and Chalk door pulls. Not sure why, as nothing else on the car is chalk. That said, I used the 991 panel removal video on here that is referenced 100 times and tackled the project this Morning. It's super easy to do and took me about 30 mins to do both doors taking my time.
Here's the pics from the install.
Chalk vs. the Red
Obviously the door panels have to come off:
Backside. Tools needed are 8mm socket/wrench and T25 to swap door pulls.
Buttoned up:
Other side:
Tools pictured are all you need. T30, T25, 8mm socket and ratchet and some trim removal tools.
Here's the pics from the install.

IIRC,Porsche didn’t offer different door strap options. The red straps would have had to go through special wishes (CXX), and would have been considered a door project, costing in excess of $8k, just for those 2 pieces. You did this the right way for sure. It now looks complete. Nice work.

Looks great. Definitely better now that it matches the belts.

need to do this on my GT3. wanted this from CXX but they denied me. even though the door panels are the same (except the mesh vs the pocket they put on the GT3)! they told me only two GT3 were approved for this on the .2 production..

I just meant I assumed the chalk straps were the available option for white stitching...just my SWAG. But it definitely looks amazing with the red straps that match the seatbelts. My GT car has them too, along with the full red deviated stitching.

$475 for some plastic and a strap of cloth? Hopefully that was both sides? I also think this would be cool in my regular GT3, since we are talking about it, mine is Lava, but the belts are yellow, because orange belts was not a option, but I can buy them for $1000.

That’s for both sides. Not per side. Porsche tax...

Looks Great ...I got the straps off the net for $2 looks just like the factory straps. you dont need the complete handle to do this.
This is covered in another thread here.

Looks good Jesse. I opted for the factory part also. It's not available in yellow for the 911 but it is for the 718 and it's the exact same part. Go figure. I was lazy and had the dealer install it. Although I did take on the project to remove my PDK shifter base plate and paint the black stripes yellow.
