It's good to talk about awareness in general. I check my rearview mirror probably at least as often as once every ten seconds. It should be part of your routine scanning.

Good idea. In addition, I am considering installing a comprehensive radar laser defense system Escort MaxCi. I need intel on my side.

Been testing this 80MPH theory in CA for the last 30 years, haven't had one ticket this way yet.
My last ticket was for talking on the phone when the law just came out back in '09 in my '08 Turbo Cab driving w/ the top up. 2 CHP cruisers pulled me over, not 1 but 2 for talking on phone. Damn, don't they have better things to do.
