UPDATE: I found a dealer that was willing to work with me. They didn’t take my initial offer, but we’re willing to move slightly on the price. So I jumped, and I got it. Flew down to Atlanta last week to pick her up and drive her home. And stopped off at the Tail of the Dragon for a little initiation. I love this Porsche!

congrats, also cool to see a .2 whitie. you dont see .2 in white often, seems everyone picked a color on the .2 cars.
I done did a thing. Yea, they didnt wiggle much. They turned down every offer but a $1k. But followed the advice above, didnt let a few k mess with me getting my dream car. Had everything I wanted on this 700mile gem but for carbon fiber trim and I didnt want PCCB. Turns out i love the brushed aluminum trim and who hates pccb. Not sure what to do with myself now. Other than a good woman and an amazing 911, which I have both now, never wanted anything else since i was 10.

Congrats on pulling the trigger! I have the exact feeling you do and am wondering why it has taken me so long to buy a Porsche...After missing out on 2 of them myself this summer (and kicking myself after) I quickly realized that once one comes up that meets your specs just jump on it. I think just going out to look at it, wiping your eyes and shaking your head and it’s still actually sitting there is one of the best feeling ever. Enjoy it, looks great and it’s the one you wanted! This car surprisingly reminds me of my ‘90 miata, just turned up to 100...everything is so in balance with everything else yet relatively sparse in the gizmos department allowing you to just drive it.

Don’t look back and enjoy. I think that we have all regretted stepping up to the plate at one time or another.

Love that touring ***, beautiful car.
I surprised myself with the wingless version to be honest. Wanted the wing, until I saw a touring. Certainly wanted a manual. I know the 991.2 gets some flack for diverting from the traditional "911 shape" but I think it's all that and quite a beautifully executed example. So I guess in the wing department I'm bi - wing or wingless (but you can see how I voted obviously)...if you could just easily pop them on and off based on your mood and/or track day would be wonderful....regardless these cars are such a beautiful work of engineering art with 50+ yrs of knowledge built into them. I also like to fly below the radar a bit and the touring fits that bill nicely for me while the car still having a sense of presence. To those who don't know what it is, its just a Porsche...and those that do, I appreciate exchanging thumbs up and have received several.
Having said that I've put 200 miles on it and have had quite a few other cars drive up my *** and slow drive by's checking it out and I'm not sure if having it say "GT3" on the back would confirm their suspicions and have them move on or if it just comes with the territory ("ITA GT3" is an available license plate in my state)...but wow, what a car, just wow....fortunately this does go relatively ignored with no-one trying to race it yet like my M3 which seems to upset the guys in minivans who all of a sudden decide they are an Andretti...
