Speaking of autographs, I purchased this early this year. Signed by the Beatles in 1963, right around the time they recorded "She Loves You" and before their invasion of the USA in 1964. It was authenticated by the two leading Beatles autograph experts and is rare because they signed the front, by their picture, rather than the blank side on the back (which is what they normally did). This was also right around the time that George Harrison changed his autograph. In earlier autographs, his name is written in cursive all in one straight line. Around this time, he started incorporating the "H" in Harrison into the second "g" in George. Just a little off-topic Beatles tidbit for those of you who share my love for the Beatles.

Wrong forum - it's a 2016.
But priced like a 2019, so maybe here is best.

Probably one of his PR people being paid a commission off the sale of this car.

Speaking of cost. How much was that? If you don't want to say then I understand. Just curious. Beautiful piece by the way.

Exactly. Be a regular guy for once and have fun with the car and trade it in or sell it anonymously without all the nonsense of VH plastered everywhere. I remember seeing a nice black 1990 C4 for sale and the only reference to Kirk Hammett was a gas receipt found under the seat.

fwiw, seen the car live a couple times, didn't smell like smoke. Bbi did the setup on it. he hand his son were at a couple track days we did, good guys, very gracious just out to have fun at the track.

id suspect its the consigner trying to get more margin on the deal with the marketing. I'd suspect, Eddie doesn't care so much.

RIP EVH. His music lives on. It was a big part of my young life. Whoever bought his RS - you have a legend.

I have no doubt about that...wouldn't be my piece of cake (Jimmy Page, well that's another story) but it will get snatched up at that price. I am surprised they aren't asking more.

Eddie Van Halen RIP. Iconic rock legend. Remembering some all time great songs from my college days! Good taste in cars, it will be valuable to someone. Maybe the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame should buy the car as part of a display to showcase his legacy.

RIP to Eddie. Loved his stuff. Saw him play in 2008. Had a Van Halen playlist in the TTS the other day with the Burmester...

I had no idea he had a GT3RS, super cool.
