No affiliation, just one I was considering before buying mine. I would have changed out the seatbelts and you have to live Lava, but its 30k under MSRP with LWB, FAL & PCCB!
Edit to mention that it was Euro delivery and the LWBs are on the build but look like they were swapped out with .1s at some point.. The build sheet mentions platinum deviation stitching on the seats which clearly this does not have.
the yellow seats belts with pccb is always a nice touch. Aluminum trim, silver wheels / headlights, and platinum stitch goes well together too. very classy spec
Welp, back in the market for a .1 RS. I bought a PTS RS Green R8 V10+ and just haven't fallen in love with the car, so I'm looking to hop into an RS. Would love another green or blue PTS, don't really care about mileage. Would like to keep it around 165k.
Curios to hear more about the R8 if you don't mind.
me too..maybe a separate thread? I’ve almost pulled the trigger 3 timed in the last 6 months. Wanted something different but there are enough reviews that suggested it’s kind of boring that I didn’t. Discounts on new ones are big..
It will be interesting to see how long that Fire Red Touring stays on the market. Compared to pre-owned R prices, it is a relative bargain and yes, it has a better engine and is in a unique color. There were very few PTS 991.1 Rs. Most Rs are white and GT silver. For that matter, as noted in the listing, there were not very many 991.2 GT3 Touring PTS cars produced in the USA (about 150).
Great spec on the Fire Red Touring, it's an amazing car. So I have a theory on the 991.2 GT3 Touring; it's going to hold it's value or climb in value over the coming years more so than other 991's - it's more rare than the 911R (991 vs ~700 North America Tourings), the press on this vehicle is incredible with the majority saying it's the finest Porsche they've ever driven, owners love this car and don't want to part with it. Finally, I suspect because the Touring has held it's value so well versus the winged version that it will be favored in the ordering process of the 992 GT3, which will make the 992 less rare and less valuable in comparison. Thoughts? (By the way, I'm biased - have a Carmine Red Touring).
